Camping 2008

Here are a few pictures of our camping trip. We had so much fun up in the mountains. We did not want to go home. The weather was beautiful, the company was great and the food was tasty. Cody and I cannot wait until next year!

Here the men-folk are hard at working putting up our tent. Not long after we arrive it started to rain on us!

Wyatt found some empty water bottles and had fun walking in circles.

Everytime Wyatt fell he had dirt, leaves and sticks on his hands. So what did he do.....he promptly put it in his mouth. After several attempts to discourage this I finally put him in his stroller. After that he didn't do it anymore.

Here is Aunt Diane with little Kaylee and Nana and Wyatt. Wyatt is only 6 weeks older than Kaylee but he sure looks older! She is so tiny and cute. She definitely takes after Kari!

Wyatt started to get cranky so I took him for a walk in Kari's stroller. The next thing I knew.....he was asleep. See below.

Aaaaawwwww....he's so cute when he's ASLEEP :)

Papa is walking Wyatt.....or Wyatt is walking Papa. You decide.

Cody is b-b-q his famous ribs. We all ate very well on the 4th of July.

Wyatt is trying his first piece of watermelon. He absolutely loved it. He ate three pieces that night.

Daddy & Wyatt hanging out. Cody was trying to get Wyatt down for a nap. It took a few minutes but he did.....but then it started to rain and promptly woke him up!

A family picture of the Standage Family. On the other side of these mountains all the trees are burned from a wildfire from a few years ago. It was sad to see one side of the mountains beautiful and the otherside destroyed by fire. Hence why we took the picture on the pretty side of the mountains! :)

Bath time in the RV. Wyatt has a bed time schedule and if he does not get a bath each night Mommy and Daddy pay for it the rest of the night. So he had a quick bath each night while we were camping. It was a tight squeeze for him!

This was the last day up in the mountains. Daddy was keeping Wyatt company while Nana, Papa and Mommy were cleaning up and putting things away.

We were not even out of the campground when Wyatt fell asleep. He slept for about an hour and a half. It was great. Then he decided to scream all the way home from about Showlow to Mesa. That was four long hours for Mommy and Daddy. Next time Mommy rides with Nana and Papa in the RV!

Here is one happy moment that I captured before the Scream Fest 2008 began.
